Youth Challenge International’s new program, Innovate MY Future, is seeking Climate Action Catalysts in Richmond Hill!
The Innovate MY Future program offers Canadian youth (16-24) in the Greater Toronto & Hamilton Area the opportunity to take action on local climate issues and make a real difference in their communities.
Participants will join a network of 100 youth in the GTHA to create and launch innovative projects to take action on climate change. Through attending Climate Action Labs at Evergreen Brickworks, running a community consultation, and launching climate action projects, participants will emerge from the program with a skillset ready to jumpstart their careers.
They are currently in our first phase of recruitment and are looking for our first 50 Climate Action Catalysts who are ready to make a real difference in their communities.
Applications are open now and close in mid-May for the summer session of the program.

Richmond Hill staff will provide guidance to local teams around our municipal context and current/future initiatives; ideally, these teams can contribute their work/findings to our Community Energy & Emissions Plan consultations.
